The work of Money Saving Expert founder Martin Lewis has helped one fan cut her energy bills by £1,300.
The woman, known as Mavis, wrote in to MSE to say thank you after the finance guru's request to energy suppliers which lead to her bills being cut by more than a third, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Mr Lewis made a request to energy suppliers after Prime Minister Liz Truss announced the Government would guarantee the average household will pay no more than £2,500 in energy bills.
