Fans of Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis know that year in, year out, he recommends buying beauty advent calendars with a higher net worth of items inside than the price you actually pay for.
Once you have the advent calendar, Martin suggests splitting up the contents inside and gifting them to different people. But even the Money Saving Expert couldn't have predicted Superdrug's mammoth 25p beauty advent calendar sale.
Shoppers have spotted Dove's 24 Days of Beauty Advent calendars for an eye-wateringly low price of 25p a pop in their local store. The advent calendars were £30 a pop at Superdrug, but are still being sold for £45.99 on the Sephora website.
