Shoppers are rushing to Superdrug to get their hands on £46 beauty advent calendars that have been slashed to 25p. Fans of Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis know that year in, year out, he recommends buying beauty advent calendars with a higher net worth of items inside than the price you actually pay for.
Once you have the advent calendar, Martin suggests splitting up the contents inside and gifting them to different people. But even the Money Saving Expert couldn't have predicted Superdrug's mammoth 25p beauty advent calendar sale.
Shoppers have spotted Dove's 24 Days of Beauty Advent calendars for an eye-wateringly low price of 25p a pop in their local store. The advent calendars were £30 a pop at Superdrug, but are still being sold for £45.99 on the Sephora website.

On the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group Zoe Stevens said: "Worth checking out your local Superdrug stores. They are selling last Xmas' advent calendars for 25p. Yes 25p.
"They were £30 full price but ideal for secret Santa gifts and if you travel. Bought 10 for £2.50!"The woman plans to reuse the goodies in the Dove Calendar. She added the goodies will be "broken down and into Santa gift bags for my staff at work".
The post sent shoppers wild. Marie Crumlish replied: "Keep for next year I recommend anything you get like this or Santa Christmas themed things keep them up the loft bring down being of nov and give to your local pta or school as they will find homes for them or food bank the list is endless who can use things after I know someone that does a January calendar so she’s not got fed up kids after Christmas."
Charlotte Cooper said: "Aw that's so good! I work at Superdrug & we don't have those at the 2 stores I work at. Love a bargain!" Andrew Albinson exclaimed: "Bargain!!!"
Louise Ackerley commented: "What a great find." Paula Michael Rooks suggested: "You could gift them next year."
