Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis says anyone who drives should follow a simple piece of advice to instantly reduce the price of petrol and diesel. His tip proved so popular, it caused an entire website to crash.
With petrol and diesel prices now rocketing above £2 in some areas, drivers are desperate to pay as little as possible for their fuel. Martin's come up with a solution which can immediately reduce how much you're spending when you top up, and it only takes seconds to do.
Tweeting to his followers, he said: "Find the nearest cheapest petrol station near you... Petrolprices.com." The website allows people to enter their postcode and find the nearest fuel station in the area. You can specify the search for specific types of fuel such as diesel and premium fuels.
