Martin Kemp heading to Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms with Back to the 80s DJ show

Martin Kemp will be returning to Edinburgh in October to bring his Back to the 80s DJ show to the Liquid Rooms.

The Spandau Ballet star will be heading to the Liquid Rooms on Friday, October 7 to present one of the biggest 80s nights to hit Scotland in 2022. Behind hits like 'Gold' and 'True', Martin will bring his music expertise to the capital for fans of all the cheesiest tunes.

With a reputation for huge singalongs all night long, this DJ set promises to be the biggest 80s night to hit the capital all year. Martin said: "This show will be a lot of fun and the ultimate return to the 80s. Music is everyone’s life soundtrack and transports us all to the best times of our lives - I think we all need that right now!... Expect one of the most euphoric nights you’ve had since the 80s.”

As well as his role in Spandau Ballet as a bass guitarist, Martin has been a regular in television over the years. With appearances in Channel 4's Gogglebox alongside fellow DJ and son Roman, as well as Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

He has also played lead roles in likes of The Krays and Eastenders, and starred in Gary Barlow's Let it Shine. With the biggest and best 1980s hits at his fingertips, join Martin as he trades his bass for the decks at this unmissable Autumn fixture.

The show will take place from 7pm till late at Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms on Friday, October 7 2022. Tickets are available for those over 18, here.
