Marks and Spencer fans have been blown away by a pair of Summer espadrille wedges they're calling 'perfect' for any occasion - including Summer weddings, holidays, picnics, BBQs and nights out. The budget heeled M&S wedges are said to be 'comfortable enough to wear all day' thanks to their cushioned sole, while they 'won't rub' the feet in the heat.
Marks and Spencer's £29.50 Wide Fit Wedge Espadrilles are designed in a wide fit with a mid-heel wedge for extra height. M&S has crafted the supple upper with an open toe and added a neat buckle to the ankle strap for easy fastening.
The Summer wedges are available in sizes 3 to 8. Unlike many other brands, M&S' heeled espadrilles also come in half sizes.
There are three different colours and designs to choose from. Fashion fans have the option of Black, Beige and a Nautical Stripe design.
The £29.50 M&S Collection Wide Fit Wedge Espadrilles can easily be dressed up or down with Summer dresses, shorts and jumpsuits for occasions like picnics, BBQs, beer gardens, weddings, the office and holidays abroad.
The budget Summer wedges have racked up an average score of four out of five stars on the M&S website, and have more than 130 five-star reviews. Shoppers have been impressed by how 'comfortable' they are, while others have been happy with the heel size, and claim they 'don't rub'.
One five star reviewer raved: "Very comfortable true to size. The heel is not too high." A second wrote: "Gorgeous sandals, good fit, long enough straps and very comfortable."
"Attracted by navy striped ones but liked so much also bought in black. Great wide fit," said a third. Another penned: "Highly recommended very soft on top cushion underfoot bonus I can do them up with room to spare not too high either comfy
An M&S fan who bought the wedges to wear at a wedding said: "Perfect colour for summer, brought them for a wedding so comfortable & the right height to wear all day & still be able to dance in them in the evening, love the style especially the ankle strap, brought them in black too."
"Originally bought these sandals in beige and loved them so much that I ordered the black ones. I like everything about them - colour, texture, height and fit. Because the front is a bit deeper they are very comfortable to walk in. Very happy with both my purchases and at a great price," said somebody else.
Another fan of the wedge sandals said: "I bought these espadrilles in black. They are higher than I usually wear but I found them very comfortable all day. The ankle strap keeps them secure & the suede finish is smart. I like that they are open-toed for Summer."

Some shoppers did comment that they found themselves having to return the espadrille wedges as they were a little big. This is because they're a wide fit - so it is worth considering opting for half a size down.
