Marketing agency gearing up for expansion at home and abroad

A Grimsby marketing agency boasting an international client base is gearing up for its next phase of expansion.

CMA, a fully integrated operation, is expecting to increase its account portfolio by more than 50 per cent in the first six months of 2023, and is looking locally for talent and instruction after working with the likes of GoDaddy, 123 Reg and brands in Germany, Egypt and the US.

Initially launched in Cleethorpes, it has now established itself at Telegraph House, and is now keen to maximise operations in the third floor suite.

Managing director Matthew Pattinson, born and raised in the Grimsby area, said: “This is an incredibly exciting time for CMA. We’ve worked hard building our client base and offering best-in-class services.

“What’s most exciting for me, though, is the superb team we have managed to build here in the heart of Grimsby. We’re now poised for the next stage of expansion, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds.”

He said CMA - Content Marketing Agency - is now known for its punchy designs and data-driven approach, and is preparing to take on new clients in North America and the Middle East while building up its book of business in the local area.

It has a commercial presence embedded in a science cluster in Boston, Massachusetts, as well as the Dock Tower view on home turf.

“Telegraph House provides the perfect premises for us”, Mr Pattinson said. “We are extremely proud of our local heritage and it seems natural to make Grimsby our headquarters.”

And a local focus is part of the plan. “We’re looking to work with a number of North East Lincolnshire-based companies. As a proud Grimbarian who holds meetings with global marketing directors, I want CMA to help companies locally really take their marketing to the next level.”

The next few months will prove critical to the expansion. “We’ll be looking to bring in new talent to our social media, design and content teams. We’re also recruiting for a strategy director to help craft and implement compelling marketing plans.

“Ultimately, we love understanding what makes a business and its customers tick, and then translating those insights into compelling creative that grabs attention. Now it’s time for us to spread our wings locally and share our marketing magic closer to home.”
