Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's huge £3.5m mansion is nearly finished after two years

After two years of work, the dream home of former TOWIE star Mark Wright and actress Michelle Keegan is nearly finished. The couple have been married since 2015 and four years later they bought the property to renovate into their perfect pad. The original mansion in Essex cost £1.3 million and is now said to be worth considerably more.

They have worked tirelessly to make their home dream a reality. Taking inspiration from the iconic Hollywood homes we’ve all come to envy and a more historic Georgian-inspired exterior, the renovations themselves are thought to have more than doubled the value of the original property, with the stunning home now worth in the region of at least £3.5million.

New aerial images show that the mansion is made from crisp white brick and immaculate grey roof tiles, as the home nears being finished. There are also floor-length windows and French doors which let in a lot of light into the property.

The house has undergone a dramatic change (OK)

The house has a balcony, five bedrooms, three dressing rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, an in-house spa and sauna, an outdoor pool and even a pool house. The house will also be more economical and environmentally friendly to run with solar panels and there will be heightened security.

Set in five acres of land, the property will soon be home to a beautifully manicured garden and even offers the potential to expand further down the line if the couple want more room to work with. Both Mark and Michelle have been updating fans with the progress of their house on their Instagram accounts.

In 2021 the happy couple showed off a landscape drawing of the incredible plans for their garden which is set to come complete with spacious cream sun loungers and cabanas next to the pool and a huge u-shaped seating area surrounding a fire pit - perfect for entertaining. They have been keeping fans updated on their progress through their Instagram account
