Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed President Donald Trump over his threats to target Iranian infrastructure including power plants and bridges, saying he has "gone insane."
In a lengthy social media post, Greene made reference to the social media post in which Trump made the threat. Concretely, he said "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped in one, in Iran." "Open the Fu---n' Strait, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah, President DONALD J. TRUMP," the post added.
On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.

Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.

Greene reacted by saying the post should be condemned, especially because it was posted on Easter morning. "Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump's madness," she said.
"I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I'm not defending Iran but let's be honest about all of this. The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they've been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon," she added.
Greene went on to say Israel has nuclear weapons, something the country has stayed ambiguous about, and claimed the country is "more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it."
"Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing," Greene said. She concluded by claiming that "Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace" and "urging the President to make peace." "This is not making America great again, this is evil."
The former lawmaker has frequently criticized Trump since their relationship broke down last year, largely over the administration's handling of the Epstein Files. She has also slammed the president over the ongoing war, claiming the country is fighting the war in Iran on behalf of Israel and not to pursue interests of its own.
The conflict is approaching a potential breaking point as Trump's deadline to avoid attacks against the mentioned infrastructure nears. The chances for the countries to reach a deal and arrange a ceasefire are slim, according to a new report.
Axios reported that the talks in question revolve around a potential 45-day ceasefire that could lead to a permanent end of the war. Iran again rejected any compromise, warning of "far more severe and expansive" retaliation if the U.S. moves forward with the threat.
