Marcus Rashford sent a thank you message to Manchester United after bringing up his 300th appearance for the club.
Rashford reached the landmark after coming off the bench during United’s 3-2 win over Norwich on Saturday. The 24-year-old reaches the landmark after making his first-team debut for the club back in 2016.
United marked the occasion with a special tweet on Sunday to congratulate the England international on his achievement. The club’s message claimed Rashford as “one of our own”, citing his journey through the club’s academy.

Rashford’s landmark comes amid what has been arguably his toughest campaign since making his breakthrough at Old Trafford. The forward has struggled for form this season, and has seen his opportunities in the side become more limited.
The reduction in playing time has led Rashford to consider his future at the club, with his contract running until next year, although United do have the option of an extra year. The Wythenshawe-born star though has left no-one in any doubt as to where his heart lies.
Retweeting the congratulatory message from United, Rashford sent a thank you message to the club as he reiterated his support for the Reds. “Always a special feeling to pull on this shirt. Thank you @ManUtd,” Rashford tweeted.
The 24-year-old will be aiming to rack up more appearances before the end of the season as he aims to rediscover some form. Rashford was named on the bench against Norwich, having been handed a start at Everton just the week before.
