Marcus Rashford has backed Manchester United’s young players to make an impact in the new season under Erik ten Hag.
A number of the club’s academy players have featured during pre-season, and will be aiming to impress further as United get their 2022/23 campaign under way against Brighton this afternoon. Ten Hag was known for backing youth during his time at Ajax, and could hand more opportunities during his time at Old Trafford.
Rashford of course knows all about making the jump from the club’s academy to the first team. And the 24-year-old believes the club’s current crop of youngsters have given themselves the best opportunity of following in his footsteps.
