Marathi news channel Lokshahi moves Delhi HC against I&B ministry’s 30-day broadcasting ban

Two days after the Information and Broadcasting Ministry suspended the licence of Mumbai-based news channel Lokshahi Marathi, banning its broadcast for 30 days, the media outlet today moved the Delhi High Court against the action, Livelaw reported. 

The matter was mentioned before a bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora by advocate Jayant Mehta for urgent listing.
