The cold snap continues to drag on as subzero temperatures remain in Dublin, bringing frost and ice to roads and footpaths.
Temperatures dropped to -9C in parts of Ireland last night, while Dublin dipped to -4C in Phoenix Park. According to Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather temperatures varied across Dublin and surrounding counties.
"A very icy morning for most but the temperature can vary a lot even in small distances. It is 2c at Ashford in Wicklow, -4c in the Phoeinix Park Dublin and -7c in the Curragh Kildare," he tweeted. Dublin will continue to battle the cold snap with lows of-3C expected for Friday morning, according to Met Eireann.
