Cristiano Ronaldo may believe fans remain on his side but he has been named among seven other players they believe Manchester United should sell in the January transfer window.
With domestic football on hold for a month for the World Cup, United's bosses have the chance to prepare for the window reopening in the new year. Though director of football John Murtough has repeatedly attempted to lower expectations by claiming United won't splash the cash in January, changing circumstances may leave the club with little choice.
United are already low on striker options as it is and it's looking increasingly likely they will be reduced further when Ronaldo departs the club. The Portuguese's bombshell interview this week, in which he lambasted manager Erik ten Hag and criticised the club, looks to have engineered the departure he was unable to attain in the summer.
