Manchester United have been told they must hand over total control to their next permanent manager.
After opting to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November, the Old Trafford giants have yet to make a final decision in the dugout and German coach Ralf Rangnick remains in interim charge. However, he is set to move upstairs into an advisory role at the end of this season.
Under his guidance, United crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday night and they face a huge battle to secure a top-four finish. Moving forward, PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag are two front-runners to replace Solskjaer on a permanent basis.
