Manchester United could make a shock move for Roma forward Paulo Dybala in the summer but will face competition from Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
Dybala could look to leave Roma, should they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League - they are currently fifth after losing to lowly Cremonese on Monday. The 29-year-old has made clear his desire to continue competing in Europe's flagship competition, according to reports.
United are expected to go big for a leading man in the summer but Erik ten Hag could be inclined to pick up lower-price quality where possible as he looks to add both strength and depth to his squad. The Reds won the Carabao Cup on Sunday and continue to compete in every available competition.

And according to Fichajes, the Dutchman could sanction a move for Dybala, who is reported to have a £10.5million release clause in his contract. The Argentinian only joined Jose Mourinho's side last summer but has since become a key player, with 12 goals and seven assists in 24 appearances.

Elsewhere, Football Insider reports that United are keeping tabs on Benjamin Sesko as they prepare to land a big-name striker in the summer. The Reds are expected to portion a large part of their summer budget for a world-class and Premier League-ready forward.
Currently at Austrian side RB Salzburg, the 19-year-old has agreed a deal in principle to join their sister club in Leipzig this summer, but the report suggests a large bid could change the course of the striker's future. The Slovenian international has scored six goals in 18 league games this season and is widely regarded as one of Europe's most promising strikers.
