Erik ten Hag handed starts to Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez in Manchester United's 4-1 friendly win over Wrexham on Wednesday afternoon, according to the RobRyanRed Wrexham AFC podcast.

United faced the National League side in a behind-closed-doors friendly match as the two teams looked to build their fitness levels ahead of their respective new campaigns.

Wrexham had originally believed they would be facing a team comprising of United youngsters, but were told Ten Hag wanted to use the occasion as an opportunity to give minutes to senior players lacking match sharpness.
