Manchester United will play pre-season friendlies in Australia and the Far East this summer as part of their first pre-season tour for three years.
A friendly against Liverpool in Bangkok to be played on Tuesday, July 12 will be officially confirmed tomorrow in a press conference in the Thai city. United's summer schedule will also include games in Australia, which are expected to follow the friendly with Liverpool.
United will play games in Melbourne and Perth with local media reports suggesting fixtures will be against Melbourne Victory and Aston Villa in Melbourne and then a second game against Villa in Perth, although it's understood those opponents might not be accurate. United will confirm the full schedule at a later date.
