Youngster Alejandro Garnacho has said that it was 'fun' to make his first appearance of pre-season following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
After playing no part in the pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia, the Argentine got some first-team minutes under his belt ahead of Sunday's season opener against Brighton & Hove Albion, earning a starting berth against the Spanish side. The youngster, who played a key role in helping the club win the FA Youth Cup last season, started on the left flank, providing support to the returning Cristiano Ronaldo.
Garnacho, who made his United debut back in April, stepping off the bench in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea, lasted 73 minutes, impressing before being replaced by fellow youngster Shola Shoretire.
