Manchester United have reportedly revived their interest in AC Milan's Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
United are keen on bringing in midfield reinforcements this summer having lost the likes of Paul Pogba, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic. Throughout the 2021/22 campaign, United struggled in midfield, with fans crying out for a complete overhaul of their options.
According to reports in Algerie 360, United are wanting to put a bid in for the defensive midfielder this summer. United were linked with a move for Bennacer a couple of seasons ago but a move failed to materialise. The 24-year-old played a key role in Milan's title-winning campaign having featured on 40 occasions in all competitions.

Elsewhere, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is reportedly edging closer to a move back to his old club Crystal Palace. 90min claim that the London club are favourites to sign Wan-Bissaka on loan this summer.
MEN Sport reported earlier this month that United were offering the 24-year-old to other clubs after Erik ten Hag decided he would prefer to keep Diogo Dalot. Palace are thought to be in pole position for the defender after Jose Mourinho's Roma cooled their interest in the Englishman.
