Manchester United reportedly remain in contract with Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries regarding a potential move to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
According to a report from Calciomercato, the Reds and Chelsea are both monitoring the 26-year-old, with Inter already looking at potential replacements if the Dutchman does end up leaving the club in the coming months. He is under contract until 2025 and is expected to cost around €50million.
While Diogo Dalot has been impressive for Erik ten Hag's side so far this season, United are still expected to strengthen in that position at the end of the season, especially with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's future still unclear. The English full-back has performed well in recent weeks, but is out of contract next year, which could mean the Reds are more open to selling him this summer.

Dumfries has made 23 appearances for Inter so far this term, registering two goals and three assists. During his time in Italy, the defender has won the Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups.
Elsewhere, French publication L’Equipe have reported that United attempted to sign Dumfries' club teammate Milan Skriniar earlier in the January transfer window.
The report claims that the Reds went on the 'offensive' to try and land the 27-year-old centre-back, but that it was unsuccessful after the player 'gave his word' to Paris Saint-Germain. He is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and it appears PSG will look to sign the defender.
Skriniar has made 242 appearances for Inter during his time at the San Siro, winning four trophies with the Italian giants. The centre-back has been linked with a move to United on several occasions on recent years.
