Manchester United are reportedly open to offering Frenkie de Jong a huge pay rise to ensure they complete a deal for the Dutchman.
That's according to Sport, who claim United are open to offering De Jong a staggering wage in a bid to cover the money he is currently owed by Barcelona. The report claims United are 'now in a position' to offer De Jong as much as £395,000-a-week.
United manager Erik ten Hag has identified De Jong, 25, as his priority target and the club are persisting with a player who has publicly expressed his desire to stay at Barcelona.

The Daily Star claim Rooney is planning a move for Jones in a bid to offer him a fresh challenge after 11 years at Old Trafford. The defender has not travelled with Ten Hag's squad for their pre-season tour.
