Harry Kane is Erik ten Hag's prime striker target to reinforce the Manchester United attack in the summer. Sources say Ten Hag is intent on signing Tottenham striker Kane as he approaches the final 12 months in his contract with the north Londoners.

Kane's Spurs future is uncertain again with the club certain to go a 15th successive season without any silverware. Although Tottenham are fourth in the Premier League table Liverpool only trail them by three points and have a game in hand.
