Manchester United advancing with possible Casemiro transfer

Manchester United are advancing with a prospective transfer for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro.

The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday United deem the 30-year-old more attainable than principal midfield target Frenkie de Jong and are continuing negotiations with Casemiro’s representative.

A source says Casemiro feels marginalised by Madrid following the signing of midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco for a summer-record fee of £85.3million.
