Manchester United issue Christian Eriksen injury update

Christian Eriksen Manchester United Reading Ten Hag

Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Christian Eriksen suffered an ankle injury in Manchester United's FA Cup fourth round win over Reading.

United booked their place in the next round of the competition with a 3-1 win over the Championship side on Saturday night, as a brace from Casemiro and a goal from Fred sealed the victory.

It was another encouraging night for United as they look to finally end their trophy drought as it enters its sixth year, but there was one negative with Eriksen's injury.
