Manchester United fans could not help but mock Leeds as they suffered relegation from the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
As United faced Fulham at Old Trafford, news from across the Pennines was filtering through about the Yorkshire club's predicament. Before the match, Leeds knew they needed to win and hope results elsewhere went their way.
But they got off to the worst possible start as Erik ten Hag's summer target Harry Kane gave Tottenham Hotspur the lead at Elland Road. After hearing news of Sam Allardyce's side going behind, chants of 'Leeds are falling apart again' rung around Old Trafford.

Those chants became louder when Pedro Porro doubled Spurs' advantage shortly after the interval. Jack Harrison pulled one back for Leeds on 67 minutes but Kane got his second moments later to make it 3-1, with Lucas Moura finishing off the scoring late on to make it 4-1 to the visitors.
With their rivals heading for the drop, renditions of anti-Leeds chants grew as the Reds enjoyed a solid display at the Theatre of Dreams. After going behind to Fulham, David de Gea produced a penalty save to avoid United going further behind.
Jadon Sancho equalised on 39 minutes before Bruno Fernandes lobbed Bernd Leno to seal third place for the Reds.
Since Leeds' return to the Premier League, they have not managed to beat United. The Reds have won four and drawn two since 2020. Ten Hag's side won the last meeting with Leeds at Elland Road as Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho both scored in the last 10 minutes.
