Manchester United fans all send the same message to Juventus amid Paul Pogba injury reports

Manchester United fans have highlighted Paul Pogba’s injury record while at Old Trafford after the midfielder reportedly picked up another serious injury at new club Juventus.

The playmaker left United when his contract expired in June before heading back to Italy. He sustained a number of injuries during his second United stint.

This trend was typified when he suffered a calf injury in the 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield in April - his final appearance for the club. Now, The Athletic report that Pogba has torn his meniscus knee cartilage.

Reports elsewhere claim he will require surgery, with the Daily Star suggesting he could be sidelined for around two months. As a result, he will miss Juventus’ pre-season trip to Dallas.

The Italian giants said on their website on Monday: “Following complaining of pain in his right knee, Paul Pogba underwent radiological examinations that revealed a lesion of the lateral meniscus.

“In the next few hours he will undergo a specialist orthopaedic consultation.” United supporters were unsurprised by the news, with some on Twitter reminding Juventus of Pogba’s injury record while at their club.

@allutdinfo: Apart from his inconsistent form, his injury was a big issue for #mufc. Good riddance. Anyhow, wish him a speedy recovery.

@JeromePadotan: What else is new?

@noni_kwasi: This was inevitable!

@GCarini85: You may have got him for free, but you still look like clowns. Been injury prone for a number of years now.
