United's debts rise
United's latest accounts have revealed that the club's net debt has risen 11.8% from this time a year ago.
The accounts, for the three-month period ending March 31 this year, show net debt now stands at £495.7million, up from £443.5million.

While the long-term US debt is unchanged, the rise included the credit facility which United have used to provide "financial flexibility" during the pandemic.

Grant announces his retirement
United goalkeeper Lee Grant has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 39.
Grant joined United three years ago from Stoke for £1.5million to occupy a back-up role at the club, where he made two competitive appearances in four seasons.
The veteran shot-stopper enjoyed an impressive career which saw him make over 500 appearances, mainly in the Championship, before spending the final six years in the Premier League with Stoke and United.
