Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has reacted to Thomas Tuchel being sacked by Chelsea.
The German head coach was sacked by Chelsea following their disappointing 1-0 defeat at Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. Tuchel became the second Premier League manager to face the sack this season after Scott Parker left AFC Bournemouth late last month.
The new United boss was set to come up against Tuchel on the Stamford Bridge touchline on October 22, but ten Hag will be locking horns with a different manager next month, with Graham Potter the favourite to step into the hot seat in West London.
Chelsea have endured a tough start to the season, losing two of their six league matches, and they find themselves two points off Man United and five points off table-toppers Arsenal.

Ten Hag was asked for his reaction to Tuchel's exit in his Wednesday morning press conference ahead of United's Europa League tie against Real Sociedad.
The Dutchman said: "I feel sorry (for him), but there's nothing else I can say because Chelsea is not Man United."
Ten Hag was then asked if he was surprised that Tuchel had been sacked.
"It's early in the season, yes," he replied.
Chelsea will be now on the hunt to try and appoint a new manager as soon as possible with tricky three fixtures in the next 12 days. They have no time to waste with a match at the weekend against London rivals Fulham, home against Salzburg in the Champions League and then a huge match at home to title rivals Liverpool before an international break.
