Manchester United's Under-21s' match against Leicester City on Monday night has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The U21s were scheduled to play Leicester at 7pm at Leigh Sports Village, with the game to be shown on MUTV, but the decision has been made to postpone the fixture after a pitch inspection following hours of rain throughout the North West.
The details of the new date and time for the fixture will be announced in due course and a statement from the club read: "Manchester United would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the postponement today's game."

Joe Hugill scored for the Reds in that match and the London club were fortunate to win by two goals at Leigh.

United are currently seventh in the Premier League 2 Division 1.
