Manchester teen who dropped out of university bags Dragons' Den investment despite being show's youngest pitcher

A Manchester teenager has secured an investment from entrepreneur Steven Bartlett after appearing as the youngest solo pitcher ever on Dragons' Den.

The Diary of a CEO podcast presenter has backed the university dropout who appeared on the hit BBC One show on Thursday, February 2. Myles Dickinson received a £35,000 investment in the episode in return for a 35 per cent stake in his business which makes personalised bank cards.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, the budding entrepreneur said Mr Bartlett, who made his fortune in Manchester, had been his first choice. The teenager founded Haze Customisation in Manchester in October 2021 while studying at The London Institute of Banking and Finance.
