Twelve new drag queens will sashay onto our screens later this month as series four of RuPaul's Drag UK begins. The stars will take part in mini and maxi challenges as they compete to be crowned the UK's Next Drag Superstar.
And one of the queens making their debut in the world-famous werk room is from Manchester. Cheddar Gorgeous describes themselves as a 'living spectacle' and 'cultural icon'.

For their promo look the 38-year-old, who has lived in the city for 16 years, described themselves dressing as 'Mancunian busy bee'. "I absolutely adore the city and whilst I‘m originally from Birmingham, I feel like Cheddar was very much manifested in Manchester", they said.
Also ready to entertain us on the next series are Danny Beard from nearby Liverpool and Sminty Drop from Clitheroe in Lancashire.
Baby from south London, Black Peppa from Birmingham, Copper Top from Cheltenham, Dakota Schiffer from Sussex, Jonbers Blonde from Belfast, Just May from Essex, Le Fil from Yorkshire, Pixie Polite from Brighton and Starlet from Surrey will also compete.
The new series will be hosted by Mama Ru herself, joined on the judging panel by Michelle Visage, an extra special celebrity guest judge and, on a rotational basis, Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK series four will premier on BBC Three and the BBC iPlayer on Thursday, September 22.
