A motorcyclist from Manchester has been handed a £58,000 compensation payout after he suffered serious injuries during a crash while on holiday in Ibiza.
The man, who has asked not to be named, spent eight days in hospital on the holiday island after suffering a fractured nose, broken wrist, a damaged elbow as well as other wounds to his face and body. Then a university student, the developer, from Whalley Range, had travelled with a friend in May 2018 and rented a motorbike.
After hiring the machine in Playa d’en Bossa, the man, an experienced motorbike rider, was knocked unconscious when a car emerged from a side road and hit him, according to his lawyers.
