Nottingham Forest youngster Fin Back has been ruled out for the rest of the season after a fresh injury setback.
The 20-year-old defender had been on loan at League Two Carlisle United, but is now back at Forest to be assessed.
He could be facing surgery on a hamstring injury, having only just returned from an injury to his other hamstring which had kept him on the sidelines since November.
“Fin was described as a 3C hamstring tear, so 12-16 weeks he’ll be out, and will possibly need surgery again on his other hamstring,” said Carlisle boss Paul Simpson.
