A graduate has revealed he was banned from flying with easyJet because of his name. Kieran Harris booked a flight to Alicante, Spain, on May 25 and was looking forward to the trip.
However, the airline sent an email to the 21-year-old the day before the flight stating that Kieran was banned from boarding the Liverpool plane, leaving him in shock, the Mirror reports. The email claimed that "due to previous disruptive behaviour" Kieran had received a "10 year no-fly sanction until 15/03/2031".
The trainee auditor says that the airline had confused him with a lad who was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison for behaving aggressively and abusively whilst drunk on an easyJet flight in 2021. University graduate Kieran says that the abusive flyer shares the same full name and birthday with him.
