These are your latest transfer stories from the Premier League and around the world on Saturday, July 8.
Man Utd deal on brink
Manchester United have received a huge boost after reportedly agreeing personal terms with number-one target Rasmus Hojlund.
United are in the market for a striker this summer and have been priced out of the running for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.
As such they have turned to Atalanta's Hojlund who now has a verbal agreement in place with Erik ten Hag's side.
His club have rejected an offer of £30million but it is hoped a second bid of around £50million will see him move to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile the Independent report four players will be leaving the Red Devils this summer. Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, Fred and Scott McTominay will all be sold in a ruthless clearout by the Dutchman.
West Ham are keen on Maguire and McTominay, Fred is being tracked by Fulham and Sancho has been offered to Tottenham.
Lavia scramble unfolds
Reports claim the Premier League's biggest clubs have all held talks with Southampton's Romeo Lavia.
Lavia suffered relegation with the Saints last season and is set to leave St Mary's this summer - for a fee of around £50million.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all "held talks" with the young midfielder, while his former club Manchester City, who are believed to have a buyback clause, are also keeping tabs on the situation.
Transfer expert Graeme Bailey of 90min wrote on Twitter: “Romeo Lavia is emerging as one of this summer's most in-demand players.
“Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea have all held talks, whilst former club Man City, Man Utd and Newcastle are being kept informed.
“Southampton want £50m...”
If Liverpool do get their man it would take their spending to £145million following the arrivals of Dominik Szoboszlai (£60million) and Alexis Mac Allister (£35million)
Chelsea closing on Vlahovic
Chelsea are on the brink of completing a deal for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal while he was at Fiorentina, but the forward opted for a move to Turin.
His time with the Old Lady hasn't gone to plan and it seems the Blues are now hoping to capitalise.
Mauricio Pochettino wants to add to his attack and according to Gazzetta dello Sport talks have been ongoing for some time.
He will cost the London side a fee of €80million (£68.3million) and there is a belief at Stamford Bridge that it's a deal that could be done soon.
