Manchester United have been forced into a late change to their line-up ahead of the Premier League game against Nottingham Forest, with midfielder Marcel Sabitzer forced to withdraw due to injury.
The loanee had originally been named in the United line-up but he appeared to pull up with an injury during the warm-up. Sabitzer was replaced by Christian Eriksen in the starting XI.
While the news was not officially confirmed by the club ahead of kick-off, Eriksen was part of the XI that started the game, with Sky Sports’ presenter Dave Jones confirming the change.

“He (Sabitzer) was not fit, because I can see Christian Eriksen walking out there,” he said. “There is the confirmation that you need and I’m giving it to you live right now.”
The latest injury is a big blow to United, who have both first choice centre-backs in Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez out with injury.
Nottingham Forest go into the game knowing that any points will see them move out of the relegation zone.
