Man Utd can sign 'miracle striker' in next 10 days for bargain fee and Liverpool 'expect deal' for 'box office' €40m star

These are the latest transfer rumours from the Premier League and around the world on Tuesday, June 27.

United can sign bargain striker

Manchester United are in need of a new centre-forward for next season and they could sign one in the next 10 days for the bargain price of just €5million.

Sky Deutschland (via SportWitness) report United are one of a number of clubs tracking Gambian centre-forward Adama Bojang.

Erik ten Hag's side, Eintracht Frankfurt, Racing Strasbourg and another top-flight German club are all keen on what they describe as the "miracle striker".

He currently plays for Gambian side Steve Biko.

The player’s agent, Sacha Empacher, was interviewed by Sky Germany, and made sure to promote the virtues of the teenager.

“Adama is the best African player I’ve seen in the last decade," he said. "He has the potential to become one of Africa’s great forwards. Along with Drogba, Eto’o, Salah and Osimhen.”

Sky in Germany says a deal to take him to Europe should be completed in the next 10 to 14 days for the bargain fee of €5million.

Liverpool and Newcastle battle for 'box office' star

Premier League sides Liverpool and Newcastle United are battling it out to sign Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.

The 22-year-old features high up on Red boss Jurgen Klopp's engine room wishlist, with Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leaving Anfield this summer after their contracts expired.

The youngster is said to be keen on a move to Merseyside, although Magpies manager Eddie Howe is also keen on him, with Howe keen to add a "box office midfielder" to his arsenal this summer.

It is Liverpool who hold the advantage, however, with Football Insider reporting "the Reds are pushing hard to secure a full agreement" for the €40million-rated starlet and "expect to complete a deal".

Other names on Liverpool's radar include Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch and Real Madrid's Federico Valverde.

He would become the Reds' second signing of the summer after Alexis Mac Allister joined in a £35million move from Brighton.

Arsenal in three-way tussle

Reports in France state Arsenal are in a three-way tussle for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.

West Ham United and Newcastle United are said also to be in the mix for the 24-year-old, say L'Equipe.

The Gunners' pursuit of Declan Rice could well have a bearing on this battle, with the Hammers captain their number-one target this summer after sealing the signature of Chelsea's Kai Havertz.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in talks to hijack the north Londoners' pursuit of Southampton's Romeo Lavia, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners have been working on a deal for "15 days" says Romano but Liverpool are now in the mix to lure him to Anfield.

Spurs pushing for Maddison

The Telegraph report Spurs have prioritised the signing of Leicester City's James Maddison.

The Foxes were relegated last season and are highly unlikely to retain the services of England man Maddison.

Spurs, the Telegraph report, are pushing hard for the creative midfielder and want a deal done in the next few days.

Leicester want up to £60million for him, with Spurs prepared to stump up an initial £40million with a compromise proposed over add-ons.

Newcastle are also in the conversation but their impending signing of Sandro Tonali has seen the Magpies cool their interest.
