Manchester United and Arsenal have been boosted in their hopes of signing Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry.
The Premier League duo are both interested in the German’s signature this summer, with both understood to be keen on bolstering their frontlines. The Gunners could well make a move for their former player as they look to add goals to their team having missed out on Champions League football last term, while Erik ten Hag is in dire need of attacking reinforcements - particularly after C ristiano Ronaldo lodged a request to leave Old Trafford this week.
It was previously thought that a deal would have been difficult to secure with Bayern refusing to sell one of their star assets, despite his contract situation in Bavaria. He has just one year left on his deal at the Allianz Arena, and has thus far refused to sign new, extended terms.
