Manchester United have reportedly reached an ‘agreement’ with Nottingham Forest linked Sofyan Amrabat over a summer transfer to Old Trafford.
Forest have been credited with an interest in the Moroccan international, with it claimed that both Forest and West Ham were following the player this summer. But it now seems that United may have taken a lead in any transfer race.
According to Italian outlet La Nazione (via SportWitness ), the Red Devils are ‘strongly interested' in the 26-year-old this summer. The report goes onto say that an ‘economic agreement’ has been reached between the player and Man United, although the club still need to agree a fee with the player’s current club Fiorentina.

It is said that the Italian club are demanding a fee of at least €30m (£25.8m) if they are to part ways with the player this summer. He has one year, with the option for another, remaining on his current contract with the Serie A side.
The defensive midfielder played a total of 49 times for Fiorentina last season. He was also a key part of the Morocco team who reached a surprise World Cup semi-final in last year’s winter World Cup in Qatar, a competition where he played every minute of every game for his nation.
The news of United’s interest could prompt Steve Cooper and Forest to make their move for the player. Midfield is likely to be an area where the Reds will look to strengthen this summer, especially with uncertainty over the future of January signing Jonjo Shelvey.
