A man has been rushed to hospital after being slashed in the face, hands and legs inside a west London off-licence.
Police were called at 4.15pm on Sunday to Coldharbour Lane, Hayes after reports of a knife attack.
Officers found a male, in his 20s, suffering stab wounds to his face and body.
He was rushed to hospital where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Images from the scene appear to show a large cordon with paramedics arriving to the shopping parade.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “At this early stage there have been no arrests.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a crime scene is in place.
“A Section 60 Order has been authorised.”
Section 60 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 allows a police officer to stop and search a person without suspicion and without reasonable grounds.
