Man shares 'game-changing' car park hack that makes supermarket parking a breeze

A man has shared a "game-changing" car parking hack that will take away many of the stresses of supermarket parking, and many are amazed they haven't thought of it before. In a TikTok video that may well change your life, or at least your shopping routine, the man explained he'd just been to collect a vehicle from a General Motors lot in the US and had been blown away by how the cars had been stored.

Each of the vehicles had been parked on the left-hand line of the parking spot, leaving plenty of space on either side to open doors without any unfortunate incidents.

The man was inspired following a trip to General Motors (@bigbruva_77/TikTok)

In the vid, the amazed TikTok user - who goes by the username @bigbruva_77 - said: "What if I told y'all we've been parking in parking spots wrong the whole time. This is where we pick up GM trucks, look how they're parked - they're parked on the line. You see how evenly spaced they are?"

He added: "Imagine if everyone at Walmart parked on the line, it would lessen the amount of dings and give you space to get in and out of your car. We've been doing it wrong the whole time y'all."

The video has since been liked more than 7.2 million times, and many people have been left absolutely blown away by the very obvious, but rarely considered, hack.

One person approved: "This should be on the driver's license test and then everyone would do it".

Another wrote: "When I first started learning about the rules of the road, I literally had this exact same idea. It just makes sense."

However, not everyone was too sure, with a third person reasoning: "I mean that's the same as if everyone parked in the middle, the general public is just bad at parking no matter what the standard is."
