A man in his early 40s was rushed to the Mater Hospital with "serious injuries" after a stabbing in Finglas this morning.
Gardai are now investigating the serious assault that happened at 10:30am on Main Street. The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
No arrests have yet been made. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dash-cam footage.

A garda spokesman said: "Gardaí are investigating a serious assault on a male that occurred at approximately 10:30am on Thursday, 13th October, 2022, in the Main Street area of Finglas, Dublin 11
"The male in his early 40s was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital with serious injuries. The scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
"No arrests have been made at this stage of this ongoing investigation.
"Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward. Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Main Street area of Finglas between 10am and 11am are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
