A man was rushed to hospital with leg injuries after a suspected shooting at a skate park.
Lancashire Police officers were called to Birch Green Road, Skelmersdale, at around 6.11pm on Wednesday, November 9, following reports of a suspected firearms discharge.
Once at the scene, a man in his 30s was found with a leg injury before he was taken to hospital for treatment.

The area around the skate park was cordoned off while officers conducted investigations.
A number of roads, including Birch Green Road, Fairhaen, Fairburn and Fawcett, were sealed off while enquiries were carried out. Cars were turned away from the scene at either end.
Lancashire Police said nobody had been arrested at this time and said there would be an increased police presence in the area for a number of days.
A spokesperson said: "We appreciate that this incident will be worrying for the local community but there will be an increased police presence in the area and anyone with concerns is welcome to speak to an officer."
