A man was repeatedly punched and had glass bottles thrown at him in a Birkenhead bar.
The victim was injured in an "unprovoked" attack while enjoying a night out in Bam Buddha Lounge, on Conway Street. The man, in his 40s, needed treatment for a cut on his head after the assault.
Police say the suspect punched the victim several times and then hit him with glass bottles, at around 4am on Sunday, December 11, 2022. Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they've like to speak to in connection with the incident.
