Man missing for five days may have travelled to Salford

Lancashire police are continuing to appeal for information to help track the whereabouts of a man who has been missing for five days.

Joseph Busuttil, 38, was last seen in the Fulwood area of Lancashire on Wednesday afternoon (January 11). Police have now said they believe he may have since travelled to Irlam, Salford.

Joseph already has links to the Irlam area, police said. He also has connections to Leyland and Fulwood.

He is described as white, 5ft 8 tall and of a medium build with short dark hair. Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with police.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: “We are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Joseph Busuttil, 38, from Fulwood.

“He was last seen in the Fulwood area during the afternoon of January 11th, 2023. It is possible he may have since travelled to the Irlam area of Manchester [sic].

“He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with short dark hair. He has connections to Leyland, Fulwood and Irlam.”
