A man "luckily" did not require any hospital treatment after being hit by a car in Wirral.
The victim was stood on the corner of Woodward Road and New Chester Road, Rock Ferry, when he was struck by a dark coloured BMW. The shocking moment was caught on camera as the man was hit and then assaulted by three men.
Despite being knocked to the floor and then hit with weapons during the attack, the victim suffered only "superficial injuries" according to police. ECHO readers have branded the man "lucky."

Jen Sally said: "Makes you feel sick, the bloke is lucky to walk away from it." Lisa Slater added : "Lucky there wasn’t any kids playing in the road."
Jessie Critch a third commented: "Omg shocking behaviour hope the man is ok." While Victoria Fletcher said: "Absolutely disgusting, what’s wrong with people."
On Twitter, @travellingred said: "That's cowards behaviour right there." A 32-year-old man, from Tranmere, has been arrested on suspicion of assault and affray. He remains in police custody this morning.
He was detained after officers found a blue BMW, with a cracked windscreen, on Raffles Road in Birkenhead. The car, believed to be used in the attack, has been seized and will be forensically examined.
Inspector Danny Murphy said: "We were called to reports of a local man being run over by a dark coloured BMW and then assaulted by three men who had got out of the car.
"Following the assault they escaped in the BMW. Incredibly, the victim sustained superficial injuries and did not require hospital treatment. A short while after the incident video of the attack was circulated on social media.
"Following a search of the area officers located a blue BMW, with a cracked windscreen, which is believed to have been involved in the attack, on Raffles Road and arrested a 31-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of assault and affray.
