A 75-year-old New Orleans man who legally changed his name to Santa Claus has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Santa Claus was arrested in June following an undercover operation in Kenner, Louisiana, in which police said an officer posed online as a 15-year-old boy. Investigators alleged that Claus sent sexually explicit messages to the officer and agreed to meet at the Kenner Lakefront.
