A man in his 20s is recovering after being assaulted by two men in Co Down.
Police said a report was received of an assault which occurred at the Bowtown area of Newtownards on Wednesday, October 12.
The man was reportedly attacked by two unknown males in the area. He was treated for his injuries following the incident.

PSNI Detective Sergeant Westbury said: “Sometime between 8:30pm and 9pm, it was reported that a man in his 20s was assaulted by two unknown males in the area. The man was treated for his injuries following the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 767 14/10/22.
