An investigation has been launched after a man was found with head injuries on a walkway in north Dublin yesterday evening.
The man, aged in his 60s, was found beside the Malahide Road roundabout in Swords at around 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon and he was taken to Beaumont Hospital for his injuries.
He is reported to be in a 'critical' condition in hospital.
The scene was being cordoned off yesterday evening along the R132 with two Garda cars and four members spotted on scene last night, Dublin Live reports.

Gardai confirmed that an investigation into the incident is underway and are appealing for witnesses or people with dash cam footage.
A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a man with serious injuries in Swords yesterday, Tuesday 14th February 2023.
"At approximately 2:30pm, a man in his 60s was discovered with serious injuries on a walkway off the R132 beside the Malahide Road roundabout, Swords Co. Dublin. He was taken to Beuamont Hospital where his condition is understood to be critical.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between 1pm and 2pm to come forward.
"They are also appealing to those with camera footage (including motorists with dash cam) from the area at this time, to make it available to them."
