A man is fighting for life after he was shot by police near Brisbane.
The 40-year-old man was shot by police after officers attended a Croydon Road address in Logan Central about 1pm AEST on Wednesday following a disturbance.
Officers were allegedly threatened by the man before police discharged a firearm.
The man was treated at the scene by ambulance officers for life-threatening injuries before being transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.
A crime scene has been established while police investigations continue.
The Ethical Standards Command is also investigating the incident.
